Programs

Safety Program

Florida employers are permitted to implement a Safety Program and are eligible to receive up to a 2% premium credit on a qualified program. A self-insurer that implements such a program, and provides the application to the Division, is also eligible to receive this premium credit

Work Place Drug Free Program

Florida employers are permitted to implement a DrugFree Workplace Program and are eligible to receive up to a 5% premium credit on a qualified program. A self-insurer that implements such a program, and provides the application to the Division, is also eligible to receive this premium credit.

Certified Safety Program

Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) are persons who perform at least 50% of professional level safety duties, including making worksite assessments to determine risks, assessing potential hazards and controls, evaluating risks and hazard control measures, investigating incidents, maintaining and evaluating incident

Implementation & Certification of Workers Compensation Regulations

Construction Employers who have 1 or more employees, including any non-exempt business owners. Non-Construction Employers who have 4 or more employees including any non-exempt business owners; Agriculture – when there are 6 regular employees and/or 12 seasonal workers who work more than 30 days during a season but no more than a total of 45 days in a calendar year
